Hyderabad Traffic Pending Challans

Hyderabad, which have been evading the payment of the fine for violating traffic rules for several years, can no longer escape unpunished. Very soon, they are going to get notices asking the court to drop the criminal amount or face another prison. The city police have gathered data from up to 18 lakh traffic offenders who have been avoiding paying the penalty for a sum of Rs 65 million rupees. A police officer senior traffic department revealed that there was a vehicle roaming the city with no less than 650 pending challans him. "Even after repeated warnings, the car owner did not pay the fine for violations. For this type of vehicles that are planning to exploit them on the road and will be released only if the vehicle owner pays due," said the official. In the recent study, bent to about 40 lakh mails were pending challans 18 lakh vehicles. Notices were being issued to all vehicle owners to pay the debt as quickly, failing which the vehicle would be under attack, the official said.

In response to a question, the official said, 'There are 27,000 pending challans in the city buses RTC. The amount is around Rs 80 lakh. We are asking the RTC officials also to clear the cause.A special unit was initiated by police in city traffic in order to ensure that the outstanding amount of e-challans be picked up and delivered to the RTA. When contacted, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Jitender said "The seized vehicle is produced in court and the car owner has to pay the fine in court. We will not let anyone. As resposible citizen everyone has to follow the rules.

Anticipating legal obstacles for certain groups to pooling system of land intended to pave the way for construction of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, said the TDP government have instructed the legal department to file a caveat in court.

The state government is of the view that the inhabitants of some villages, backed by some groups oppose the pooling system of the earth. Activists of the National Alliance of People's Movements (NAPM) backed rights activist Medha Patkar have already covered the area of the capital. Retired judge Justice P Lakshman Reddy, who recently met with leaders of farmers in Vijayawada, has also extended its support. Similarly, it is said that former assistant Naidu and once the Minister of Agriculture Vadde Shobanadreeswara Rao be preparing to knock the doors of the law to stop the sharing of land beyond what is required to build capital.

Apart from these groups and individuals, farmers wing YSR Congress party is challenging the initiative mull ing pooling of land in 29 villages. Many environmental activists are also planning to challenge capital construction based on the destruction of fertile land in an area known as the rice bowl of India could threaten the food security of the nation.

Aware of this  the State Government has reportedly asked the Attorney General to present the caveat.Filing a warning, in other words, means that the court would state government and keep it informed of the measures was likely to take on petitions, if any, submitted by the subject. In fact, many farmers organizations in the capital region are waiting for an official decision on the sharing of land and the creation of the Development Authority Capital Region (CRDA) so they can use it as basis to challenge it legally.

Sources said that Naidu government is planning to introduce the bill CRDA in De December 19 or 20 at the meeting to be convened for the winter session on December 18 the bill will likely be driven by the minister of municipal administration in the House on Friday. 'The passage of Bill will start the formal process of development of the capital. Governor's approval will be obtained in a day or two. The pooling of land will begin immediately,' said one associated with the commissioning process Minister common land.
