Anticipating legal obstacles for certain groups to pooling system of land intended to pave the way for construction of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, said the TDP government have instructed the legal department to file a caveat in court.

The state government is of the view that the inhabitants of some villages, backed by some groups oppose the pooling system of the earth. Activists of the National Alliance of People's Movements (NAPM) backed rights activist Medha Patkar have already covered the area of the capital. Retired judge Justice P Lakshman Reddy, who recently met with leaders of farmers in Vijayawada, has also extended its support. Similarly, it is said that former assistant Naidu and once the Minister of Agriculture Vadde Shobanadreeswara Rao be preparing to knock the doors of the law to stop the sharing of land beyond what is required to build capital.

Apart from these groups and individuals, farmers wing YSR Congress party is challenging the initiative mull ing pooling of land in 29 villages. Many environmental activists are also planning to challenge capital construction based on the destruction of fertile land in an area known as the rice bowl of India could threaten the food security of the nation.

Aware of this  the State Government has reportedly asked the Attorney General to present the caveat.Filing a warning, in other words, means that the court would state government and keep it informed of the measures was likely to take on petitions, if any, submitted by the subject. In fact, many farmers organizations in the capital region are waiting for an official decision on the sharing of land and the creation of the Development Authority Capital Region (CRDA) so they can use it as basis to challenge it legally.
