Attacks on Army Public School in Peshawar (N -W Pakistan)

Senior police official Shafqat Malik confirmed the combat phase of the response was over, while the army chief General spokesman Asim Bajwa said on Twitter that the operation was closing.Bajwa said explosive devices planted in school buildings by the militants were holding clearance efforts. Hyderabad Traffic Pending Challans

Hyderabad, which have been evading the payment of the fine for violating traffic rules for several years, can no longer escape unpunished. The city police have gathered data from up to 18 lakh traffic offenders who have been avoiding paying the penalty for a sum of Rs 65 million rupees. Anticipating legal obstacles for certain groups to pooling system of land intended to pave the way for construction of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, said the TDP government have instructed the legal department to file a caveat in court.

The state government is of the view that the inhabitants of some villages, backed by some groups oppose the pooling system of the earth. Activists of the National Alliance of People's Movements (NAPM) backed rights activist Medha Patkar have already covered the area of the capital. Retired judge Justice P Lakshman Reddy, who recently met with leaders of farmers in Vijayawada, has also extended its support. Similarly, it is said that former assistant Naidu and once the Minister of Agriculture Vadde Shobanadreeswara Rao be preparing to knock the doors of the law to stop the sharing of land beyond what is required to build capital.

Apart from these groups and individuals, farmers wing YSR Congress party is challenging the initiative mull ing pooling of land in 29 villages. Many environmental activists are also planning to challenge capital construction based on the destruction of fertile land in an area known as the rice bowl of India could threaten the food security of the nation.

Apple to build technical center in japan

TOKYO: Apple Inc is building a technical development center in Japan, Prime Minister Abe Shinzo said, which a company spokesman later confirmed, saying that the plan calls for several dozen jobs to be created as a result.

"Apple has decided it undertake cutting-edge R&D in Japan," Jiji news service quoted Abe as saying in a campaign speech outside of Tokyo ahead of a general election on Sunday. "It will be formally announced soon."

Abe said the facility will be on par with Apple's biggest technical development centers in Asia, Jiji and Kyodo news said, without offering any further detail.

An Apple spokesman in London said the new technical center will be located in Yokohama, outside Tokyo, and will lead to the creation of dozens of new jobs.

Technical development centers typically are involved in aspects of new processes or products, rather than designing finished products.

All of Apple's research and new product development continues to be done from the company's headquarters in Cupertino, California, the spokesman added.
